Who doesn’t love a good sushi pun, right? Finally got chance to break out this adorable Gina K set (I Like The Way You Roll), to make this fun little bookmark.

I started out by stamping the images in Gina K obsidian black ink and colouring them with Spectrum Noir markers. Next, I fussy cut them and set them aside.

I then used the Lift the Flap Slimline die from Time for Tea Designs to cut three flaps in a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb cardstock, which I trimmed down to size.

Next, I cut another panel the same size and ink blended the following Distress Oxide colours: tattered rose, spun sugar, crackling campfire and candied apple. I attached the blended panel to the back of the main panel with liquid glue, then attached the sushi images to the front of each flap.

Under each flap, I stamped a sentiment from the set that coordinated with the picture on top.

Finally, I cut a base from Concord & 9th cardstock, using another T4TD die (Slimline Scalloped Circle Trio Nesting dies) and adhered the main panel to it.

Isn’t it so cute?? I think I’ll definitely be making more of these 🙂
Thanks for joining me… Have a rice day!
