The second card I’m sharing for the final MFT challenge is this superhero birthday card! I’m always short of masculine birthday cards, and I thought the colour scheme was great for that.

I used the Happy Birthday Blend stamp set first, which is a layering stamp set of sorts – first, you stamp the HPY and BRHA in one colour, then stamp the other letters in your second colour, and they overlap slightly. I used Brickyard ink for my red and Blueberry for my blue.
I then ink blended a soft blue in the background (Harbour ink), and splattered some gold watercolour paint over the background.

For my superhero, I stamped the Super Boy stamp with Memento tuxedo black ink (because it’s alcohol marker friendly) and coloured with my OLO markers:
Blues: B0.3, B0.5, B0.6, B0.7
Red: R1.7, R1.5, R0.5
Yellows: Y8.6, Y2.2
Skin: O7.1, O7.3, cheeks R0.2
Hair: R-G7, R-G6, R-G5, R-G3
I fussy cut my superhero, and added him with foam tape on top of the sentiment. Finally, I trimmed a small amount from the edges of the card panel and added it onto a navy blue A2 card panel.
Thanks for joining me again today! I’ll be back soon with more card making fun.
