Hey friends, how are you? Today, I posted a reel over on Instagram showing this spooky-but-cute pop-up card!

The patterned papers and the adorable little ghost are both from RAM Stamps.

Here’s how I made my card:

1. Cut two panels of white cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.75″. Score each panel on the longest side at 0.5″ and reinforce thed with a bone folder, if you have one.
2. Cut a piece of patterned ghost paper to 4″ x 5.25″ and wrap some black and white twine around it, about a third of the way down. Secure at the back with tape.
3. Add some foam tape to the back of the panel (avoiding the twine) and add the panel to an A2 panel of black cardstock.
4. Heat emboss the sentiment from Pretty Pink Posh’s Ghost Friends stamp set on to some black card, using white embossing powder.
5. Die cut the sentiment with a circle die, and attach to the front of the card panel with foam tape, over the twine.
6. Print out the Cute Ghost twice and fussy cut. Colour one of the two images with your choice of colouring medium (I used OLO markers).
7. On the reverse of the coloured image, glue a strip of acetate about 0.75″ wide, so that it protrudes from the bottom of the ghost. Glue the other ghost on top, to hide the acetate.
8. Add some double sided tape to the short folded edge of each white card panel (so the tape is on the “outside” of each panel). Remove the release paper and add the ghost to one of the folded edges, adding the other panel on top, so the two folded edges are sandwiching the ghost in the middle. Close the two panels so that the ghost is hidden inside. Trim any excess acetate sticking out of the card.
9. Add the patterned paper panel to the front of the card.
10. Open your card, and…. “boo!” – your ghost will pop up to give your recipient a spooky surprise.
