Friends, how are you? We have some serious catching up to do! It’s been a hectic summer, with the kids being off school, two family holidays, and two brand new classes to create – as well as the launch of our first virtual class over at Craft & Connect!

So, I’m a little behind with my blogging!

I thought I’d start out with this adorable little birthday card featuring Mama Elephant’s Celebration Hamsters. Mama Elephant is currently having a Guest Design call, with the theme being “humour” so I thought I’d put my ME stash to good use and get making some cards!

For this card, I stamped some of the hamsters from the set in alcohol-marker friendly ink and coloured them with Copics:

I die cut a white panel and a pink panel using two sizes of Pink & Main’s stitched rectangle nesting dies. On the white panel, I applied a small amount of Picked Raspberry distress oxide ink with a blender brush, then stamped the “it’s your birthday” sentiment at the top (from the ME “Wishes Enclosed” stamp set).

I added the birthday cake hamster underneath white liquid glue, then attached the two other hamsters with mini action wobblers, so they can party away in celebration!

I added the white panel to the A2 sized pink panel, and placed both on a white A2 notecard.
