Hey everyone, sorry it’s been a while! The lead up to Christmas is a lot with work and personal commitments, winter germs… you know the drill! But on a brighter note, today I’m sharing a CAS card I made with a recent Wow Embossing release – the Fruit & Nut Trio.

I LOVE this trio, it’s so versatile, and I can’t wait to play more with it. In particular, the Cantaloupe colour looks like a galaxy sky to me, so that might well be my next project!

To create my card, I heat embossed three panels of scrap card with each of the colours in the trio (Cantaloupe, Dragon Fruit and Pistachio), then die cut them with three of the triangles from the Stitched Tall Triangle STAX Die-namics by MFT Stamps.

I added them to my background card panel (5″ x 3.75″ white card) with foam tape. I then heat embossed a sentiment in Wow’s super fine metallic polished silver embossing powder (my absolute fave – you wouldn’t believe the shine in this, and also the gold from the same range). I added my sentiment with liquid glue.

I then created my background panel by adding embossing ink to the edges of a white A2 card panel, and heat embossing with the same silver powder. I added my top panel with tape runner, and my card was done. Super simple but effective, I think!
