Hey everyone, how are you? I don’t know if you saw it last week, but Wow Embossing and Scrapbook.com were having an inspiration parade. Did you know that Wow products are available to buy on the Scrapbook.com website?

This is my project from the parade. I used Karin Brushmarker Pro markers to create a watercolour background by applying two of the blue colours (arctic blue and royal blue) directly to my glass craft mat, then picking them up with a wet paintbrush, and applying them to my watercolour paper. I swirled the colours into each other until I was happy with the effect, and left the background to completely dry.
Once dry, I took the main floral image from the Hello Friend stamp set, and stamped it with embossing ink over the watercolour. I heat embossed the image with Black Puff embossing powder to create a textured outline.

Next, I used the Decorative Tags – Jumbo Nested Dies to die cut a tag shape from the centre. I used the same die to diecut from a piece of craft foam, and adhered the watercolour tag on top of it with tape runner. I then glued the tag back into place on the card background, so it was raised up.
I added some black & white twine and a black enamel dot at the top, and underneath the tag shape, I stamped “hello friend” from the same stamp set.

If you haven’t already, head over to the inspiration parade HERE to see more of the amazing projects the team have made with their Wow and SB.com supplies!
