Hey friends, hope you’re all enjoying summer. We’ve just gotten back from our family holiday, and I have three weeks worth of laundry to get through – so I thought this card was quite apt for today! This card also makes me smile because it was inspired by my two daughters (age 3 and 5) who love to be pushed around in the laundry basket!

Products used (not affiliate links):
Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting dies
Loads of love stamp set and co-ordinating dies

To create my card, I began by stamping and colouring the images from the Loads of Love stamp set, then die-cutting them with the co-ordinating dies.

I used the rectangular die from the slimline nesting die set to die-cut a panel from white card. I then added blue floral paper from the Pretty Pastels pad to the top portion of the panel, and ran it through the die cutting machine again, so it would have the same stitching around the edge.
Next, I created my slider feature using the Pull Tab dies (for a more detailed tutorial on how to use these, please see here: Snail Mail Slider card tutorial. I made sure to line the slider channel along the bottom of the “wall” so when I added my critters, it would look as though the cat was pushing the basket across the floor.

After assembling my scene (adding the pieces with liquid glue so there would be no dimension getting in the way of the slider feature), I stamped and die cut my sentiment, and added it with foam tape in the gap in the picture. I then added the whole scene to a slimline card base.
Thanks, as always, for being here with me today, and I’ll be back soon with more craft inspiration!
