Hi friends, I’m back today with another entry for the MFT Stamps weekly sketch challenge! This is the challenge sketch:

It’s Father’s Day on Sunday here in the UK, so I chose to make a card for my Dad using the RAM Beary Special stamp set. I stamped, fussy cut and coloured my images using Copic markers. Next, I made my background by lightly ink blending some Peacock Feathers distress oxide onto some white card. I sprinkled over some water to add texture, then flicked over some opaque white paint by Copic.

To fit in with the sketch, I used my stitched rectangle dies to cut one of the teal sheets of paper from the Colorful Canvas paper pad down to A2 size. I matted it onto a slightly larger white card base. Then I used the Stitched Rectangle Frames die-namics to make the white border to frame the centre. I cut the largest rectangle four times, stacked them together and added them to my card.
I then added the polar bears with foam tape, and stamped my greeting. The sub-sentiment is from the same stamp set, and the “Dad” was made using the Well Connected Alphabet stamps. Finally, I added a few gems from Lucy’s Cards (the mix is called Snow on Snow).

I hope you enjoyed today’s blog and I’ll see you next time!
