Hey everyone! There’s another fun Instagram hop happening today – this time it’s with Wow Embossing and LDRS Creative. Check out Instagram for all the details and the giveaway (I’m @card_days_night on IG).

For my project, I used the gorgeous Cosmos floral layering stencils from LDRS, and combined it with their Big Word – Beautiful die– I do love me an oversized sentiment!

For the florals, I used a combination of Concord and 9th mini ink cubes. For the pinks, I used Ballet Slipper, Pink Lemonade and Honeysuckle, and for the teals, I used Tidepool, Oceanside and Peacock. For the leaves, I used Lemongrass and Avocado.

I knew I wanted a chunky, gold sparkly sentiment, so I raided my Wow! stash and came up with Sandcastle, which fit the bill perfectly. It’s very similar to Pearl Gold Sparkle. I die cut the sentiment three times and glued them together for some sturdy dimension, then pressed the sentiment into my embossing ink, covered it in the glitter and set with my heat tool.

I cut a panel of Midnight cardstock (C9) to 4×6″, and matted it on to some sparkly gold paper from my stash. I then added the florals, which I’d fussy cut, to the top-left and bottom-right corners. Next, I die cut the sentiment’s shadow die from adhesive vellum and glued the sentiment onto it, before adhering it to the centre of the card. To finish, I added a few Dew Drops (also from C9).
