I love making cards to say “hi” or “hello”. It’s the type of card I send most often, and there’s nothing like pairing a bold hello sentiment with a showstopper background for a winning card formula!

For my background, I took a panel of Concord & 9th Midnight cardstock and dusted it with anti static powder. I used the Confetti Hexagon stencil from Wow! Embossing, which I taped in place on the left side of my card, and applied embossing ink through the stencil.
I then added Strawberry Sparkle embossing glitter, from the Twinkly Fizz Trio, and heat set.

To create the sentiment, I die cut the shadow die from The Stamp Market’s Happiest Hellos dies, in white, then die cut the “Hi” three times from white card. I stacked them together, then pressed the sentiment into my embossing ink, and embossed it with the same Strawberry Sparkle.
To finish the card, I trimmed the panel down to 5″ x 3.75″ and added it to a white A2 card, then glued the sentiment to the front.
I love navy and pink together, so this really makes me smile. Thanks for joining me again, see you next time!
