Hey friends, how are you? Today I’m sharing a lovely slimline card featuring some of the new release embossing powders from Wow! I’ve used the Dappled Effects trio, which has three beautiful dappled pinks and peaches.

I decided to make a slimline card with three windows to show off each of the colours properly. I die cut a panel using MFT’s Slimline Stitched Square Trio die-namics, and then placed it over some white card and lightly marked in pencil where each of the windows were located.

I swiped my embossing ink pad over the white card, then added each of the three embossing powders (Dappled Coral, Dappled Pink and Dappled Pink) over the areas I’d marked with a pencil, then I set them with my heat tool. I trimmed the panel down to fit behind the window panel, then glued it in place.

Next, I stamped the skunks from MFT’s Sweet Skunks set, and coloured them with Copic markers in the following colours: W8, W6, W5, W3, W1 and RV23, RV21, RV10. I fussy cut the skunks and added one in front of each window with foam squares.

I then created my sentiment strip by stamping the sentiment with embossing ink on to some black card (dusting first with an anti static powder tool), and embossing with Wow’s bright White fine detail powder. I trimmed the sentiment down with my guillotine, then added it to the front of my card panel with foam squares.

To finish the card, I added the panel to a White slimline card base using foam squares.
