Hey friends, today I’m sharing TWO cards for the price of one! I always love a 2 for 1, especially when the “spare” card turns out just as cute as the first!

I used the Sweetie Jar Trio from Wow! Embossing’s latest release to create an embossed panel. I covered some white cardstock with Wow’s embossing ink, then sprinkled each of the colours from the trio (Sherbet Fizz, Marshmallow Fizz and Plum Fizz) over the panel. I set the powders with my heat gun to create a lovely, shiny background panel.

From the panel, I die cut the Lots of Love vertical cover plate die by Time for Tea Designs. I added foam squares to the back of each heart (while they were still in the die), then added an A6 card panel to the back of them. I removed the cover plate die to reveal a perfectly lined-up set of gorgeously embossed hearts – so pleased with how it turned out!

I removed the “positive” diecut from the cover plate die, and glued a sheet of acetate to the reverse. I then added thin foam strips around the edge and in between each row of hearts, and filled each row with clear sequins. I placed a panel of card over the back, sealing in the contents and making a shaker panel.

To finish the shaker card, I die cut a circle from T4T’s stitched circle nesting dies, and glued it to the front of the panel. I then stamped, die cut and coloured some of the skunks from T4T’s Stinkin’ Cute stamp set, and placed them on the circle. Before I glued them down, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with my MISTI, then added the skunks with foam tape.

For my second card, I made another small panel of using the Plum Fizz embossing powder, and die cut the word “love” from the T4T stitched circle die set from it. I die cut the word two more times and stacked them all together for dimension, then glued it to the front of my panel with all the raised hearts. I trimmed out the word “you” from one of T4T’s pre-printed sentiment cards, added it below the “love” and then finished off with some raindrop gems.
