Little Signage Agenda – new baby card

I was scrolling through my photos this afternoon and realised I’d not posted this new baby card I made for a friend a few months back!

To make the background, I ink blended a slimline panel with distress oxides (speckled egg and tumbled glass, I think!). I then sprinkled it with water to add some texture, and flicked some white gouache over the top; Finally, I added some dots with a Copic marker in a blue green colour.

I diecut the frame from Time for Tea Designs Falalala Scalloped Slimline Dies in white (twice, and stacked them together), and added it to the panel with liquid glue.

I stamped out the images from Mama Elephant’s Little Signage Agenda and coloured them with Copics. I added the name of the new baby to the little signs with black glaze pen, and I got my Brother Scan n Cut to fussy cut the critters, which I then added to the card with foam tape.

I also added some of the little critters to the inside of the card, with baby’s date of birth, which I thought was a cute little detail!

I hope you like!
