I love a Wow Trio, do you? Today they’ve released two new ones, and they’re lovely- to me, they feel very autumnal and rich!

For today’s card, I’ve used the Ancient Orient Trio (Tarnished Brass, Vintage Turquoise and Turkish Coffee). I’ve been wanting to try a new-to-me Stamp Your Life project kit from Altenew called Dynamic Blossoms for a while and I thought this would make a lovely colour combination.
Have you ever used the Craft Your Life kits? I’ll admit, it took me a while to work out how all the bits fitted together, but once I’d got that nailed, it came together really easily.
I stamped the outline image in black ink, then added colour to the petals with the layering stamps. The colours I used were Concord and 9ths Sea Glass and Oceanside. For the final detailed stamp, I used Wow embossing ink and added the Vintage Turquoise powder, which I then heat set.

I coloured the leaves using the coordinating stencil. I think I used Parsley, Clover and Evergreen. Again, for the final detailed layer, I added the embossing ink and this time Tarnished Brass powder. I love how the embossing adds shine and depth to the flowers!
After die cutting the flower, I also die cut two Garden Trellis background dies (again Altenew), glued together for dimension and added to an A2 card base. I added the flower on top and a pre-made sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, before finishing with a few enamel dots by Hero Arts.
I hope you love this card, it pushed me outside my comfort zone, and I’m pleased with the result!
