Rainbow pawprints

A new crafty friend of mine is going through a tough time as her fur baby needs a lot of medical attention, so I wanted to make an encouragement card to let her know I was thinking of her.

I used a rainbow of distress oxide colours (crackling campfire, scattered straw, salvaged patina, tumbled glass, wilted violet) to blend a colourful background through the Pawsome Prints stencil by Time for Tea Designs. I used their mini stackable blending brushes which were perfect for this project.

I then applied some Nuvo Shimmer paste through the stencil, with a spatula and left the panel to dry for a few minutes.

While it was drying, I die cut the paw shape from black card using the Pawsome Dies (also T4TD). To create the sentiment, i used the new Simple Sentiments stamp set. I took the “never not thinking of you” sentiment, covered the first two words with masking tape, and stamped the rest with embossing ink on to some black cardstock. I then heat embossed with Wow’s super fine bright white powder. I added the paw and the sentiment with foam tape.

I popped my finished panel on to an A2 card base to finish. Love the rainbow sparkly paws!
