Trick or Treat – Lawn Fawn x Wow Embossing

Have you seen the new Trios that Wow Embossing have recently released? The thing I love about them is that often they are colours that I would not have thought to put together myself. One of the Trios that Wow! sent me to play with as part of my guest design spot recently was this Time Traveller trio. As soon as I saw it, I thought… Halloween!

I started out by die cutting the Trick or Treat sentiment three times from white cardstock. On one of the die-cuts, I pressed it into the Wow! Slow-drying embossing ink and sprinkled Primary Royal Purple over the word “trick”, Primary Sunbeam over “or” and Opaque Primary Fossil over “treat”. I then melted them with my heat gun, and glued the die cut onto the two other white ones for some dimension.

Next, I took a panel of white cardstock and ink blended Wilted Violet distress oxide from the top down, with a heavier application at the top, fading out towards the bottom. I trimmed the panel to just smaller than a US A2 size.

Then, I coloured three of the adorable characters from Lawn Fawn’s Costume Party stamp set (I’ll share a couple of colouring videos on my Insta – watch out for them!) and die cut with my Brother Scan N Cut (LOVE).

I glued the sentiment to my card panel, then added the characters with foam tape underneath, before securing the panel to an A2 card base.

I hope you like it! I love this colour combination!

I actually have a discount code that you’re welcome to use, to get 10% off anything you buy from Wow (either the UK or the US store) – it’s WOWDTJV.
