Heffy Doodle Fan Hop

Hey, friends! Hope you’ve got something nice planned for the weekend! We’re having a few days away this weekend, for a MUCH needed chill with our girls! Today I’m sharing with you TWO cards that I made for this year’s Heffy Doodle Fan Hop! I love Heffy Doodle, and I’ve had this Sweet Stuff stamp set waiting to be used for a little while now, so I was glad of the opportunity to get to use it!

For my first card, I used an A2 panel of white card stock, and I stamped the lollipop image over the whole panel, changing the direction to give a fairly random appearance, while still keeping about the same distance between each lollipop. I used Copic colours in rainbow colours to colour them in, then trimmed down the panel by about 1/8 inch on each side, and adhered it to a black A2 panel, which I then added to a a card base. I then heat embossed the sentiment in white onto some black card, and added it with foam tape, and finished the card off with some Pink Moonstone Sequins from Lucy’s cards.

For my second card, I used an A2 panel again, masked off the bottom portion and ink blended Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Peacock Feathers distress oxides very lightly with blending brushes. I stamped the macaron image from the same stamp set over the ink blending, then removed the masking tape. I added a thin strip of black card across the top of the ink blending, then stamped my sentiment above it. Finally, I added some more Pink Moonstone sequins to finish.

This project is part of a hop taking place over on Instagram – if you check out my post over there (@card_days_night) and follow along, you could win a £30 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store!
