MFT sketch challenge

I’ve said it before: I LOVE a sketch challenge. Card layouts and background ideas are one of the things I struggle with the most, so I love the inspiration that comes from following a plan.

So, today I’m sharing this sweet little card I made for the current MFT sketch challenge (below).

I used the You Keep Me Afloat stamp set by My Favorite Things, along with a background I had in my stash that I’d made with my gel press.

Copic colours used:

Bunny: E53, E50, E000, R02, R01, B34, B32. Bunny’s boat: B97, B95, B93, C1, C0. Sailboat: E77, E74, E72, B34, B32, C1, C0. Fish: YR24, Y19, C1. Crab: YR27, YT24, Y38, B28, B24, B02.

I coloured and fussy cut the images using the colours listed above. I then chopped up my gel press background to follow the card sketch layout and added it to an A2 card base with tape runner.

I then heat embossed my sentiment using Wow Bright White super fine embossing powder onto black card and trimmed down, then added this and the images wkth foam tape. To finish, I added some clear Sequins from Lucy’s Cards.

Thanks for tuning in, and see you soon!
