Hey friends, I thought I’d share something a bit different today! I recently made this shaker bookmark for a friend, as a little bit of surprise happy mail to include inside her handmade card!

I used this Tulip die from Time for Tea designs to cut the three tulip shapes out of two pieces of lavender cardstock. I then glued some acetate to the reverse of each panel. I sprinkled a lovely spring-y, pastel-y sequin mix into each of the windows, then glued one panel on top of the other, sealing them in.

Next, I stamped, die cut and coloured some of the images from the Lucky Ducks stamp and die set, and glued them to the front of my bookmark, along with a couple of the sentiment stamps “I’m a Lucky Duck”… “to have you as my friend”.

Finally, I punched a hole at the top of the bookmark and tied in some pink organza ribbon to finish. I think it has a lovely cheerful, spring vibe to it – what do you think?
