E-I-E-I ‘ello!

Hey crafty friends, I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. Today, I’m sharing another interactive card, this time using the new Platform Pop-Up dies from Lawn Fawn. I absolutely love how you can easily create a scene with these dies.

I won’t try to describe the process of putting the card base together as Lawn Fawn have a great video tutorial on this!

I stamped and coloured all of the images from the Clearly Besotted E-I-E-I ‘ello stamp set, and coloured them with Copic markers. I then cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut, and decided which of the images I wanted to use. Once I’d played around with the layout and was happy, I glued everything down to the three rows that protrude from the base, using liquid glue. I also glued my barn image to the very back of the card base.

I cut a length of brown gingham patterned paper from my stash, so that it would wrap around the base. I made it around 3/4″ tall. I attached it with tape runner, and then on the front of the card I die cut the stitched rectangle which comes with the Lawn Fawn dies, and stamped on the sentiment from the EIEO set.

It really was that simple to make, and I’ll definitely be making more of these. This one is destined for my two year old little girl who loves everything farm and tractor related!

I also love how the cards fold flat into a standard A2 sized envelope to go in the post!

Hope you all have a wonderful, crafty week!
