Hey, how are you? I’m back after a couple of weeks away to share this beautifully retro card using supplies from the new Time for Tea Designs release!

I started out by making my background – I lined up several of the greetings from the Hey There Critters stamp set on my MISTI and then stamped them with a soft grey ink (Dove by Concord and 9th) on to some white cardstock. I shifted the cardstock up and across (by 1/2 inch each way, I think), and stamped again. I continued shifting the cardstock up and to the left or right until I’d filled the whole background, then just filled in any gaps at the side using a single greeting on an acrylic block. I then mounted my background onto some grey card which was about 1/4 inch bigger on each side, then added the whole panel to an A6 card base.
Next, I die cut the various pieces from the Retro Phone Builder set, using a pale pink for the phone and its buttons, and cream for the dial. I assembled them with liquid glue and added the phone to the card using foam tape.
Finally I die cut the “hello” sentiment (from the Hey, Hello, Hi dies) from grey card, and the shadow from vellum, and added this below my phone.
I love how this card turned out so much!! I think the colours really add to the retro vibe!
