I bought this really cool Concentric Doodle cling stamp from Simon Says Stamp back in Stamptember last year, and still hadn’t gotten around to using it, so I thought it really was about time!

I love it and actually made 5 different backgrounds, which I’ll share as I turn them into cards, but for today I’ll tell you how I made this one!
I took some Karin Brushmarker Pro pens in rainbow shades, and applied them directly to the stamp – just scribbling them on in rainbow order. I then spritzed the stamp with water using my Nuvo mister, and stamped onto some watercolour paper.

It got a little smudgy in the middle but that’s OK as I was planning a bold sentiment to cover it anyway. I die cut the Paper Hugs sentiment (also from SSS) twice in white and once in silver, and glued them together for dimension. I added this to the centre of the panel, glued some raindrop embellishments around, then added the finished panel to a kraft card base.
Simple but totally cheerful, and I love it! I’ll share my others soon!
