I totally fell in love with these Celebration Hamsters from Mama Elephant’s new release and couldn’t wait to get colouring them! I chose pastel shades and coloured the whole stamp set, so I’ve still got some left for another card 😊

These little guys are so cheerful, I felt like a shaker card was required! So I die-cut the Balloon Cover-up Die-namics drame from MFT Stamps and added some vellum to the reverse for the shaker window. I then die cut five of the little balloons that come with the frame die and Copic coloured them in pastel shades to match the hamsters and their cake/gifts, then added them on top of the white balloons on the frame.

Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Wishes Enclosed stamp set (Mama Elephant) on to the vellum. I then used liquid glue to attach my hamster on his birthday cake, and the little guy bearing presents.

Finally, I added some doubled up foam tape around the edge of the frame, filled it with pastel coloured clay hearts from Time for Tea Designs, then placed my card base over the foam tape, to seal in the shaker contents. Of course, I finished the balloons with some Glossy Accents because… Balloons!
