Hi everyone, happy Monday. I hope you had a lovely weekend? We spent some time with friends up in the Lakes – it’s so nice that we’re getting to do some more normal things again now.

Today I’m sharing another card I made for the latest Wow! Embossing release. I’ve got a Reel over on Instagram if you’d like to see the process in action!

To make my card, I ink blended: shaded lilac; seedless preserves; and wilted violet distress oxides onto a piece of smooth white cardstock sized 5″ x 3.75″. I then ran the ink blended panel through my Gemini die cutting machine with the new Diamonds stencil to dry emboss it.

Next up, I created my own glitter cardstock by covering a piece of card in Wow’s ultra slow-drying ink, then adding Golden Blue embossing glitter and heat setting. I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment from the glitter panel, and also two more from plain cardstock, to stack them together for some nice dimension. I adhered the sentiment to the front with liquid glue, then added some gold pearls from Pinkfresh studio to finish.

Finally, I mounted the entire panel on a white card base using foam tape.
