My 4 year old daughter recently saw a card I made using Lawn Fawn’s Costume Party stamp set and tried to pinch it for herself š so I made a mental note to make her Valentines Day card with it.

To make this adorable little duo, I ink blended two panels – one in rainbow colours and the other in pink ombre – then cut them down to 4×4″.
Next, I took two 4×4″ white panels and ran them through my Gemini with the Lawn Fawn quilted hearts background die.
I used a corner rounder on each of the panels, then adhered the die cut panels over the ink blended ones.

I stamped out the unicorn from the Costume Party set, and the dinosaur from LF’s RAWR flip-flop set, plus several of the hearts from the same set, and coloured everything with Copics.
I freehand cut two hearts from pink cardstock to sit behind the unicorn and dinosaur. I adhered the hearts to the card panel with liquid glue and added the characters with foam tape.

Next, I embossed the sentiments (from the same stamp sets) on to black card and added these with foam tape, too. Finally, I added the hearts with some deep foam circles, so they really pop off the page!

To finish the cards, I made two 4×4″ card based, rounded the corners, and added my finished panels to the front.
I’m entering these cards in the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge – my first one!
