Do you enjoy making cards for men? I have to admit, I have to specifically address my mind to it, as most of my cards probably lend themselves to female recipients!

This month is my Dad’s birthday, so I searched my stash and came up with this amazing Hugs Enclosed background stamp from Honey Bee Stamps, which I’ve been waiting to use anyway!
I used my new Copics (yey!) to colour the hearts in blue (B32 and B34), then used Warm Greys to add shadow behind each envelope (yes, really 😂).

I then stamped some of the little envelopes with Versamark on to a similar blue cardstock, and heat embossed in white before cutting them out with the co-ordinating dies.
I then die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment from Sizzix in white, with the shadow in black. I attached the sentiment and envelopes to the background with foam tape.

I trimmed the panel down to about 4×6″, then mounted it onto some black cardstock using foam tape. The finished panel was then added to a white card base, trimmed to size.

Finally, I finished the blue hearts with some Glossy Accents for a bit of shine.
I quite like how this turned out and will definitely be using this stamp a lot! What is your favourite technique for masculine cards?
