I love this botanical diamond die from Taylored Expressions. It comes with a number of sentiments, so it’s really versatile! On this occasion, I needed a Get Well Soon card for my good friend who, along with her family, is suffering with Covid right now.

I started by heat embossing the image in gold on to white cardstock. I then used alcohol markers to colour the florals. Next, I stamped the “thinking of you” sentiment from the set in the centre, and also heat embossed it in gold.

The “feel better soon” sub-sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments set by My Favorite Things. Again, I embossed this in gold, then trimmed it down and adhered it with foam tape. Finally, I added 5 gold sequins for a little bit of complementary bling 🙂

I trimmed down the panel and mounted it on to a kraft card base using foam tape. I decided that the stamp would also look good on the front of the envelope, to frame the address, so I stamped it in Wheat ink (Concord & 9th). I love making matching envelopes!
