Dandelion Wishes another way

I am absolutely loving this stamp set at the moment, so I thought I’d do another version with alcohol markers rather than coloured pencils.

I decided on the layout I wanted for the scene, lined up the stamps on the page and used the MISTI to stamp them in Gina K obsidian black ink. When I had stamped them on my cardstock, I kept the stamps in the MISTI and stamped them on some masking paper, which I then fussy cut.

I used my trusty Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers to colour the little critters, and then I applied the mask over the top so I could ink blend the background.

I used a cloud stencil from Pinkfresh Studio to create the cloudy sky, and applied a light amount of Speckled Egg distress oxide ink using a blender brush. I then added some Twisted Citron to the bottom for the grass.

I peeled off my mask, added the sentiment (again from Mama Elephant) and added the scene to an A2 side folding card base using foam tape.

Hope you enjoyed this fairly simple one layer (ish) card. I think it’s kinda sweet!
